October is coming to an end, and Halloween is less than a week away! I'm particularly excited for this Halloween because; a) it falls on a Friday, b) it's actually still pretty warm out, and c) I get to spend the weekend with my two best friends from college! We were lucky enough to be paired together as suite mates freshman year, and lived together all four years of school. Amanda lives in New York, so I have seen her a few times since moving, but Kendal lives in Boston, and is coming to visit for the weekend! We always get goofy and laugh a lot when we are together, and we cannot wait to dance the night away.
In the meantime, I am trying very hard to resist all the candy that appears around Halloween time! I have a chronic sweet tooth, and while I am a proponent of "everything in moderation", I don't make candy a part of my daily diet, since many of it has artificial additives and ingredients. But, When there are two candy jars 5 steps from your desk at work, this can get tricky! These fudge brownie bites are the perfect replacement for fun size snickers bars or peanut M&Ms.. They are rich and chocolatey, and just big enough to curb your sweet craving after lunch or dinner. And the best part is, they are actually good for you! Made with just 5 simple ingredients, they can be made in less than 10 minutes. Pop one in your mouth when you're hit with a sweet craving, or need a quick boost of energy before a workout.
